Track Sessions

Immediately following the keynote addresses, you can attend your choice of five sessions, broken into the following five tracks, which are designed to provide more specific information, insight, and solutions.

Corporate & Consumer Track
Corporate incentives, loyalty programs, and consumer-convenience programs have rapidly adopted prepaid cards as vehicles for achieving myriad business goals. Attend this track to hear about the latest industry developments, as well as several case studies covering incentives, loyalty, insurance products, and more.

Unbanked, Underserved & Payroll Track
With more than 40 million Americans classified as “underserved” or “unbanked,” prepaid card are proving to be extremely useful tools to bring millions into the financial mainstream while solving their day-to- day needs. Sessions within this track will cover the market dynamics, new product and service offerings, and case studies from successful programs.

Emerging Payments Track
The world of prepaid is just one segment, albeit a large one, of the overall payments universe. In this session, you will hear updates on the latest front- and back-end payment technologies and systems, hardware and software systems, new business models, and insight into the future of payments beyond prepaid. You’ll also get an assessment of the outlook for venture capital and investment into the prepaid industry sector.

Risk Management, Legal & Regulatory Track
In this mini-track taking place on Tuesday, March 4, the latest regulatory and legal issues affecting prepaid and stored value cards will be discussed, along with tactics for complying with AML, BSA and counterterrorism legislation, such as the USA PATRIOT ACT. Sessions will also focus on fraud detection, interchange trends, and card security.

Government Track
Held on Wednesday, March 5, this track will feature case studies from federal, state, and municipal government entities which have deployed prepaid cards to handle a wide range of payment disbursements, including child support, unemployment insurance, and a case study featuring the US Social Security Administration.

Retail Products & Strategy Track
Designed especially for retailers, you will hear insight and research results detailing market activity specifically by retailers. Other sessions will cover vendor selection criteria, distribution strategies, and marketing techniques. Several sessions are dedicated to case studies covering successful prepaid programs in the retail marketplace.

Welcome Reception

Industry Gala
WHEN: Tuesday, March 4th, 6:00 pm
WHERE: AMAZON G Ballroom
Recognize your peers, have some fun, and throw your name in the hat for a chance to win up to $6,000 in Visa Gift Cards at the 2008 Prepaid Card Expo Annual Industry Gala. Exhibit Hall

Golf Tournament
WHEN: Monday, March 3, 8 am
WHERE: Desert Pines Golf Club
Connect with your peers out on the golf course. The Golf Tournament includes greens fees, cart rental, continental breakfast and box lunch, and transportation to and from the Rio Hotel.
